Oneness School’s curriculum centers on wellbeing, sustainability, and children’s connection to nature. Our master plan for the new campus responds to these values through a climate-responsive design that carefully considers sun and wind patterns, seasonal change, and flood resilience.
Classroom buildings are elevated on circular mounds and oriented to maximize natural ventilation while minimizing direct sun exposure. The surrounding landscape functions as an active learning environment: integrating paddy fields, pocket forests, edible gardens, and nature-based playgrounds that immerse children in outdoor experiences throughout the school day.
The architecture blurs the boundary between inside and outside. Each classroom building is organized around a central courtyard for outdoor learning, while individual classrooms open onto adjacent patio spaces, allowing learning to flow seamlessly between interior and exterior environments.
