Good dentistry is a combination of art and science, and our design of the ORA Wicker Park office plays off that contrast. 2 Point Perspective and their client Ora Dental Studio are both committed green business practices. While Ora is the first green dentist group in the nation and complies with the GGHC practices, 2 Point was able to design a space for them that will also be the first LEED Silver certified dental office in Chicago. The project demonstrates a successful eco-partnership between the dental and architecture practice where the modern health care and modern design were able to coalesce into a beautiful and functional space.

Each of the lab rooms, for instance, has Veritas laminate doors allowing light penetration while still keeping the privacy of the patient a priority. Considering the needs of the office employees, a break room was implemented including a designated recycling area. The room was furnished with Shaw carpeting (50% recycled content) and cabinetry add Ora dental has created a business plan that eliminates unnecessary waste and energy. Their practice is based on utilizing environmentally conscience and functional business operations. As they wanted their building facility to match their passion for being an eco-business, they looked to 2 Point Perspective to come through on creating an equally environmentally conscience and beautiful space. The project is an integration of a full functioning dental and surgery studio with a LEED certified, efficient and modernly designed space.
