Together with bureau SLA we are working on the design of the Noorderparkcafé, a temporary bar in the Noorderpark in Amsterdam. The bar will be 100% marktplaats, which means that we will buy all the materials to use at marktplaats.nl, the Dutch version of e-bay. The construction consists of second hand building sheds on a grid of wooden piles. The grid leaves room for temporary extensions with an exhibition space or a music stage. Table tops on the piles that are not in use enlarge the terrace of the bar.
