In 2011 the project "Paardenmarkt" in Alkmaar was completed. The project is situated on a historic location in the centre of Alkmaar and consists of two new apartment complexes with .... dwellings, a number of penthouses and an ingenious parking facility. The monumental former cheese warehouse Eyssen was completely renovated and extended with two luxurious penthouses. In het cheese warehouse 22 dwelling for starters were realized. In 2011 also the square was reconstructed. With this redevelopment of the Paardenmarkt and the Kanaalkade Alkmaar has got a "new" square, a square which is in harmony with the architecture of the city centre.
