Padra Clinic

Padra Clinic redefines the traditional look and feel of clinical spaces by introducing
warmth, color, and hospitality at the heart of its design. While the original brief leaned
toward a more conventional luxurious palette of dark tones and brass, Babnimnim chose a direction more aligned with the brand’s identity. Drawing from Padra’s established visual language of oranges, browns, and yellows, the clinic’s interior channels the optimism and tactile character of the 1970s.

From the outset, the intent was to create an environment that feels more like a boutique hotel than a clinical facility. The approach focused on soft forms, rich textures, and a seamless flow between functionality and experience. The result is a space that avoids the sterility of typical medical environments and instead introduces a sense of comfort and familiarity while meeting all operational needs. Visitors enter the clinic via escalators and are welcomed by a transition zone clad in finely honed woodgrain marble. This sets the tone for the space and creates a sense of calm. Overhead, roping lights introduce a subtle rhythm that guides the eye upward toward the main reception. The central desk, supported by eight customer service pods, is enclosed within low wooden partitions and capped by a stretch-fabric ceiling that adds a sense of intimacy and openness at once.

The waiting area is designed to evoke a residential lounge. Plush seating and a built-in
coffee bar establish a relaxed atmosphere. Consultation and treatment rooms are
organized with clarity and flow. Each includes a built-in shelf and mirror, allowing clients a personal and comfortable experience. Throughout the corridors, built-in seating is integrated along the walls, offering additional waiting zones for patients outside consultation rooms.

These alcoves are detailed with storage and display features, including cabinets for
curated items and seamlessly integrated charging pods for mobile devices. This thoughtful addition responds to the extended waiting periods often experienced in clinical environments, turning idle time into a more comfortable and customer-oriented experience.

Across the clinic, curving architectural lines are complemented by linear recessed lighting, creating a soft, ambient environment. Artwork, plants, and sculptural lighting add layers of personality and complete the atmosphere, merging the practical needs of a medical space with an emotionally grounded design experience.
