This year’s Interior Design category winner, Palm Jumeirah villa 66 is located in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. It was a renovation project of ArchiPlexus - Architecture and Design from last year. The villa is the property of a young couple whose dream was a home with contemporary and traditional Middle Eastern design. All openings and windows were made with the intention to maximize the view and natural sunlight. The contractor chose prestigious and luxurious brands to decorate the house and create an exclusive environment all around. Beside other well-known brands, Manooi and its co-brand, Inarchi were also featured in the house to bright up the interior.
Manooi hand-made unique crystal luminaire collection has been inspired by the natural light that surrounds us. Thanks to their special diffraction quality, crystals have been used for centuries to decorate chandeliers and light fixtures. This traditional material is implanted by designer János Héder into the contemporary design world. Sparkling Manooi Artikoi crystal chandelier, placed above the dining table, adds glamour to the dining room by creating a sparkling light effect.
The sophisticated, architectural style Hexan lamps, models of Inarchi, were installed above the kitchen counter. Hexan, a full-face bronze hexagon made with traditional techniques with high-performance LED light source, simultaneously represents the spirit of contemporary design and preserves the traditional quality of craftsmanship.
Manooi and Inarchi are always glad to work with partners who are experts in their field, such as ArchiPlexus - Architecture and Design. We congratulate them on their achievement and look forward to have our next design award winner project together.
