T3 Architects designed the Pasteur Institute Cambodia as to bring a new look to this famous Healthcare institution in Phnom Penh.
From an “old style” local clinic, T3 Architects turned the building in a modern and clean international healthcare Center by proposing a full refurbishment and new interior design. T3, in collaboration with Pasteur Team, has focused a lot on the Layout’s consistency (quality of uses) to make the place “easy” both for doctors and patients… Fixed furniture have been voluntarily integrated to the existing structure as to save space and make the place more ergonomic.
T3 selected all the finishing materials as to bring wellness: hardwood (natural), linoleum floor (hygienic); T3 also decided to go for a colorful interior, as to help patients to feel confident and welcome when entering the clinic. The color on the walls and floors is also a way to divide the space between the different functions of the Healthcare center.
Lighting have been specifically designed to bring enough lux, but also a place warm. Privacy and confidentiality have been studying carefully during design process.
All fixed wood furniture and wood partitions/niches have been designed by T3 who collaborated with the carpenter contractor to get the best quality/price result.
