The Polo Mixed-Use Project is located on Avenida El Polo, on a 2,500 m² site, and features a mixed-use program. The building integrates harmoniously into its surroundings, comprising an open commercial podium, a central hotel volume that avoids creating high party walls, and a stepped rear office volume with terraces and planters.

Open to the city, the commercial podium provides high-quality spaces and is conceived as an extension of the public realm, incorporating green areas that extend the street and culminate on Level 4 in a large open park, the “intermediate park.” The building features a distinctive design. The hotel’s curved central volume emerges from Level 5, supported by two large structural elements—or “legs”—that rise from the semi-basement and are designed to support climbing plants.

The commercial podium wraps around these structural elements, creating courtyards and voids that maintain visual connections between all commercial levels. This interior space was conceived as a large stepped garden. The rear office volume is arranged in a stepped configuration, with green terraces facing both the interior of the site and the rear.

The materials selected for the project are honest, natural, and durable. Exposed concrete, metalwork, and concrete screens contribute to the building’s aesthetic and functionality, highlighting its authentic character while ensuring its ability to endure over time.
