In a world where every time there is a need to make multiple spaces, that is, multifaceted, multidisciplinary, etc., we open our minds to a totally different replica, a project that requires meeting certain very specific characteristics in a short time. The project would be in one of the most important commercial centers of Mexico City, in a space not exceeding 50m2, a small space but with significant potential, a space that can be seen from almost any angle and with a high flow of people, that is why we designed an identity base, a starting point so that communication, image and experience were aligned along the same axis, we wanted the project to become a milestone or a memorable moment for those who live it. The project is based on a unique module that can be interconnected, adapted and replicated as many times as necessary to create routes, being able to look not only from a visual point, but also providing different facades around it, achieving versatility in each of the views.
An original and fresh “pop up” should be proposed, without leaving behind the essence of the brand, it was decided to create an exclusive and unique assembly system for this project, manufacturing each of the pieces of the “pop up” from its origin, in order to achieve the best possible materialization of the project, thus reflecting the maximum expression of quality in a space. Inspired by linear elements, elements that float and their intersection and interpolation, a total of 60 linear meters of structure were manufactured in stainless steel and more than 50 joints of the same material, designed from the concept by our study. With supervision all the time, thanks to which each of the processes could be tangible, from the selection of the best steel, to the traditional process of the master turner when molding the unions, the final image was achieved, which was what was expected since the birth of the project. Stainless steel was selected as the main material of the structure due to its strength and flexibility, in addition to its finish, which is versatile and elegant. To complement it, different types of lighting were proposed to highlight the product displayed and generate the desired experience from the conceptualization.
The first was materialized in the enclosure with a mirror of infinite effect, which is illuminated through a neon sign, having an acrylic engraving in the background, attracting the eyes of every people who pass by, a kind of reception and welcome to the project that opens all the way like a curtain subtly hinting at the brand. The second, were light boxes with independent power supply combined with reflective elements to give more character to the product and mimic it within the same architecture that is to say make it part of the space and play with it, which in turn function as the main shelf for the Footwear and the third one were resolved with warm light strips fixed to the main structure emphasizing the vertices of the project, resulting in a project that complements itself with each of its elements.
