PricewaterhouseCoopers Prinsenhof

The 28,000 sqm Prinsenhof tower is a striking feature in the The Hague skyline and forms a cornerstone in the urban masterplan of Joan Busquets. Two slab shaped blocks are connected by a transparent volume containing emergency staircases and lifts. The U-shaped plans enclose a series of 5 storey voids that form large openings in both facades. By alternating these voids from side to side, transparency and daylight penetration is enhanced.
