PROJET ONE

One of the most important challenges of this contest was the improvement of the experiences sought by the visitors on this spectacular site. It was therefore a question of resetting the essence of the site in its vocation to be spectacular. The first experience is entitled to the visibility of the tour from multiple points (As it is represented in a contemporary way with the Selfie photographs - the tower and, therefore the overall site, being the most photographed building in the world). It seemed obvious that the Eiffel Tour site holds in itself an already existing logic of unity that only needs to be reactivated, and sometimes simply reinforced.

The issue that arise comes from the latter additions of buildings and from utility yet parasitic objects that have come to colonize the site over time, thus affecting negatively its reading and its use. What is proposed here is merely a rehabilitation and a staging operation of a statement monument, and more globally of the site as a whole, as it is induced by the title, One site. With this in mind, the renewed program calls for multiple interventions that follow the heritage of the universal exhibition: a project of many strokes that ultimately draw a single picture.
