Prototype module

renato arrigo as Architects

The energy self-sustaining prototype of a habitation module, built with fiber reinforced pultruded elements, geo-referenceable, nomadic, versatile, customizable, using the reuse of materials supported by ethical choices built in Messina (Sicily, Italy) by the research team led by Dr. Vincenzo Antonucci (Institute of Advanced Energy Technologies "Nicola Giordano" of the National Research Council of Italy). The prototype, addressed to several purposes as tourism, temporary housing, social housing, was realized as a show room for the research outcomes dissemination and as a proactive think tank combining innovation and environment.

The water and sun cycles through hydrogen and photovoltaic technologies let the prototype have a self-sufficiency energy in a dynamic equilibrium with the surrounding environment.  The energy-efficient space is interactive, home automation, smart, off grid, with innovative technologies for the production and energy management. Respectful of the 'life cycle assessment' of the products used, the prototype is in perfect harmony with the suggested ethical processes suggested by thoughts and theories #thinkglobal.
