Proyecto Público Prim is located in a house from the beginning of the 20th century that has been transformed and intervened over the years by Mexican creatives, artists and architects. Recently the project expanded and acquired the neighboring house. As this new house did not have a floor in all its areas, communication between spaces was impossible.

Vertebral was invited to perform an intervention inside the house. Understanding that there were already multiple interventions that were hardly discovered, we proposed a bridge that connects the different artistic expressions that are scattered around the house.

Puente Prim proposes a single gesture of piercing the thick walls of the house by means of a slightly bent steel plate, thus generating enough rigidity to fulfill its function as a connector. Puente Prim is a walk through the different interventions of the artists, and also a way of inhabiting the walls and pre-existing features that speak as the time goes by.
