Living in the hustle and bustle of the business world can be exciting, but for a single entrepreneur who loves surfing, finding a peaceful retreat is essential. This entrepreneur seeks a place where he can rest and recharge his batteries, and nothing better than an apartment that reflects his passion for the sea and surfing.

Upon entering his apartment, the light and soft colors of the walls create a sense of calm and serenity, while textures reminiscent of sand and stone bring a natural and organic touch to the environment.

Dots of yellow scattered throughout the apartment capture the sun's brightness, creating a sunny and welcoming atmosphere. These pops of color stand out softly, adding a touch of vitality and joy to the space.

For this entrepreneur, his apartment is more than just a place to live—it is a sanctuary where he can relax, unwind, and reconnect with his passion for surfing. It is a place where he can recharge his batteries before returning to the business world, ready to face new challenges with renewed vigor and determination.

The resident's tastes were the starting point for the project, which resulted in rooms bathed in natural light, with focal points painted yellow, and a feeling of refuge, ensured through the decor. The light tones and use of wood in the choice of furniture give the space a clean and welcoming feel, striking the right balance between the choices.

The apartment's color palette features neutral tones applied to natural materials to create an ethereal and balanced atmosphere. Linen, straw, leather, and even nautical ropes make up the materiality of the project.

The entrance hall is the calling card of a residence. This is where the first contact with the project takes place. In addition to its formal attributes, the hall must be functional and provide privacy for the residents.

The table is a place for relationships. During meals, we share stories and create memories that will last a lifetime. Considering the importance of these family moments, we created this welcoming and relaxed atmosphere to be the stage for everyday stories.

INTEGRATION | The renovation allowed the rooms to be integrated so that residents and visitors can interact more. Decorative objects are from ORNAMENT and o — d — a.

The well-planned and sized home office was a refuge for working with quality and comfort during the pandemic. The surfboard and nautical ropes serve as totems to seek balance between work and leisure. On the walls, the office used lime betton coating to bring the velvety touch desired since the beginning of the project and which makes an association with sand. All of this evokes the peace and tranquility of being by the sea.
The bookcase in the living room was designed by Cinex Arch Curitiba. The coatings used are reminiscent of sand, and the rug is from Persépolis Tapetes. The tones and materials chosen evoke a beach atmosphere. The living room furniture, from Ton Sur Ton Decorações and Artefacto, was arranged freely to improve circulation. The neutral colors, a sure bet in the color palette, were applied to natural materials such as linen, straw, leather, and nautical ropes, creating a calming atmosphere and making the apartment a true refuge.

The kitchen maintains the light and relaxed atmosphere of the entire project. Large countertops and plenty of storage space ensure the functionality of this environment. The porcelain tile is from Portobello and the lighting is by Alma Light. The countertop offers space for quick meals. Yellow, reminiscent of the sun, was the color chosen to stand out in the décor.

We like the contrasts between materials and construction processes. Here, the Feel armchairs by Beach&Country and the travertine marble wall covering by Palimanam contrast with the lightness of the Home System by Cinex.
