House Alterations & Additions in Clifton Hill, Victoria, Australia

An existing semi-attached house on a tight site is substantially altered and extended. To keep the existing garden, much of the additional floor area is located on the first level and takes advantage of the northern orientation. The clients’ well defined brief ensures that every little bit of space is well put to use.

1. Facade Material: Fibre cement panels, paint finish
2. Bricks: Salvaged bricks from demolition
3. Timber Floor: Australian hardwood, wax finish
4. Canopies: Aluminium
5. Windows: Custom made hardwood frame with double glazing & insect screens
6. Benchtops & splashbacks: Carrara marble
7. Fireplace: Morsø slow combustion wood fireplace
8. Joinery: Laminate & hardwood veneer
9. Lights (Interior): Reggiani Yori LED surface mounted spotlights
10. Lights (Exterior): Archilux recessed LED lights
