This is the story of a building inserted in a small neighborhood of houses linked to railway workers, more than a century old.

Its initial state was very poor due to the abandonment of the owners and the mistreatment of the tenants. The rehabilitation is approached from a very tight budget. It is based on specific substitutions of structural elements, new finishes and installations of the houses, small modifications of the interior layout, recovery of the staircase...

Above all, it focuses on the removal of the rear gallery, which had been closed by brick and morter with disastrous results, since the structure was finally ruined. It was eliminated to replace it with another with a completely open balcony, recovering the original typological image, although with a clear renovation of the materials, using steel plates, contrasting whit the age of the building.
