In the newly refurbished Restaurant Azurro situated in the “Messe Zürich”, a place hosting many fairs, the Mediterranean seems very close. The lasered pattern projects south Italian Vietri tiles which are at the same time theme of the whole restaurant. Through skilled lighting, the planners strengthen the illusion of a far horizon. It is nearly possible to hear the sound of waves rolling and to smell a scent of the sea. The MDF-panels, lasered and painted by Bruag and designed by Andrin Schweizer play an important part in holding up the illusion of a calm oasis in an otherwise busy ambiance.
