The apartmentis located in Sopot, a beautiful Polish seaside town with a rich art deco architectural heritage from the early 20th century. The location was the main inspiration for the apartment design, which is combining the modern, clean lines witch a subtle and sophisticated art deco elements.
The Client brief was calling for an open concept, with the kitchen area being visually integrated with the living space. The dominant kitchen island becomes the key architectural feature of the living space. The bright and spacious living room is contrasting with dark and moody master bedroom with dreamy decorative elements and tactile finishes.
The apartment has a number of semi-enclosed, compact and unexpected spaces which are dedicated to work, focus or relaxation. These nooks are the take answer to the way we work and spend time at home. The design functionality is blending the open plan concept of the living areas with more intimate and cosy areas dedicated to work and relaxation.
