Sedlak_ s House

The parcel is situated on a hill in front of the Charles's Crown castle which is remarkable inspiration itself. Two outstanding artists of the time was invited by Count František Ferdinand Kinský for the construction of the castle, the Czech architect of Italian origin Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel and the Prague architect František Maximilián Kanka. As a result a colorful baroque jewel with a central composition and an ideal location in the landscape was created. The castle becomes the main motif of the view from the living area and reflects in the final design of the house. In a way, the house is a paraphrase on the opposite chateau, a crown and a blooming blossom nevertheless with a preservation of a farmhouse character.
