The plan contains a mixture of active walking and cycling routes, site formation, existing cultural and park areas, meeting places and a new development of 300-400 homes - with a clear environmental profile.
The backbone of the proposal is the creation of meeting places with interconnected walkways, streets and public space. The district has an open character which is an accessible destination for both residents and visitors with inviting plazas, outdoor theatre, cafes, restaurants and visitor centre. The project provides for greater integration with the surrounding neighbourhoods and contains a mixture of owned and rental apartments.
