Skalia Tower

Skalia Tower

Arditti + RDT Architects as Architects

Corporate Skalia is located in the best business area of the city of Guadalajara. It is an avant garde building, dedicated to offer the most advanced concept at global level in corporate spaces. Integrating in its architectural design:

·        Maximum efficiency

·        Functionality and security

·        Ecological awareness

·        State of the art technology using quality materials

The building consists of a tower of 16 levels for offices with core services, wide stairs for service, main elevators, all rooms come with air conditioning, cleaning station and recordable pipeline installation. Also a mezzanine for private offices and shops for customer service, and the main lobby has two levels of commercial space with access from Mario Pani Street, there’s also 6 levels of underground parking and a heliport on the roof.

The geometric form starts from a simple square, which is offset towards the façade to visually form two geometrical shapes. One of them is distorted in the finishing angle on top of the building generating in these levels, terraces for users.

The main access is emphasized with a bold glass triangle of large dimension that gives the user a very interesting spatial sense of space, passing by wooden decks with mirrors of water.

Its main lobby is located in the center of the ground floor, with high ceiling. The lobby represents a link with the mezzanine floor by means of a glass bridge, which parts symmetrically this space.

Skalia considers ecological characteristics that provide sustainability to the building and to the city. The building is designed with modules of 1.22 x 1.22 meters generating a better use of the materials. Its terraces allow a natural, solar block for plants while also generating social spaces and smoking areas for the users of the building.

Its design is based on their guidelines to generate savings in the thermal load in the interior of the building. Skalia meets the highest standards of systematization, being one of the best, intelligent buildings in Mexico.

For this and much more, Corporate Skalia is positioned as the best building for offices in the State of Jalisco.
