Smoothies have become one of the most up and coming trends in dynamic city life as healthy eating has increasingly gained an undeniable importance in our every day lives.

The interior design of this cafe project located in Bebek, İstanbul, has evolved around clean and natural eating habits.

While the raw materials, patterns and colours used in the shell of the space refer to the natural and clean contents of the smoothies being served, the diversity of the materials and the lighting products implemented in the space, reflect the energetic attitude and colourful representation of smoothies.

The load-bearing system was rendered visible by being designed in a brutal way, with an aim to reflect the honesty in architecture as well as the ingredients of the smoothies.

As a contrast to the brutalist approach achieved in the ground, ceiling and walls of the space, the interior design was sophisticated with well-thought details and materials.

Tailor-made lighting luminaries, designed with the intention of emphasizing the characteristic of the ceiling, create the atmosphere of the space by layering the light.

The murals painted for the space, as well as the variety of the plants used in the interior design as finishing touches, provide the integrity of the indoor and outdoor space.

Material Used :
1. Flooring: Microcement
2. Column and ceiling: Brut concrete
3. Walls: Plaster
4. Ceiling Luminaries: Wicker and wood (tailor-made design)
