Most new apartments in Mumbai in high rise either do not allow for flexibility in plan or are crammed for height. So when a project comes along where the height is generous and the spatial clarity can be achieved because of flexibility in shifting Walls the project becomes an exercise of architectural interior intervention in spatial organization. This apartment allowed restructuring of layout to suit the brief of the client. The passage at entry was highlighted by a feature wall gesture which accentuates the entrance leading to the dining and living space. The bar and powder toilet have been carved between the guest/ entertainment room and children's room. This space is given an intimate setting with the entertainment room with a generous library and study along with the master bedroom entrance has been tucked away from the living room. This bedroom has been treated as a suite with the bedroom opening into the bathroom which also accommodates the walk in wardrobe. A large deck can be accessed from the two bedrooms and the living room.
