Located in Bağcılar, Istanbul, Talu Textile Office is designed by XYZ Design in 2022. Spanning 13,000 square meters over 7 storeys, the project prioritises functional distinctions between levels, ensuring efficient spatial organisation tailored to the needs of each floor.
The ground floor, which houses the reception and lobby, creates a dignified atmosphere in line with the company's corporate identity. This level also accommodates the human resources department with its managerial office, workspaces, meeting rooms and storage areas. The 1st floor is dedicated to manufacturing, with a well-structured layout where cutting, sewing, ironing, storage and technical areas are seamlessly integrated for optimum efficiency. On the 2nd floor, the dining hall is designed to encourage both individual and communal dining experiences around the kitchen which acts as a central hub. Vibrant tones enhance the dynamic atmosphere of the space, which also includes a gym and resting rooms for employees.
The 3rd and 4th floors foster a contemporary approach to workspaces. At the heart of these levels are glass-enclosed meeting rooms that offer partial privacy while maintaining a connection to the surrounding environment. Co-working areas and individual work hubs are strategically positioned around this volume to encourage both collaboration and focused work. Additionally, these floors include social areas with flexible seating and a game wall for interaction and relaxation. Open office areas are arranged linearly, maintaining a distinct yet connected relationship with the communal spaces. The design adopts a dynamic, non-hierarchical layout, incorporating circular forms and vibrant palette to enhance the workspace.
The 5th floor, designated as the executive level, combines open plan offices with executive rooms and meeting spaces. A refined design language is favoured here, with carefully selected forms, materials and a sophisticated hue that underlines a sense of prestige. On the 6th floor, a showroom provides a setting for client meetings and product experiences. Designed for spatial fluidity, it offers a seamless experience, allowing the space to be perceived from multiple vantage points.
The 7th floor houses a seminar hall and classrooms for staff training. This level also includes mechanical and technical rooms, along with storage and archive spaces. Through its thoughtful design approach, Talu Textile Office blends functionality and aesthetics to create an efficient and engaging work environment tailored to the diverse needs of its users.
