What a client expects from an architect is to enhance & transform a space into an interesting & functional beauty.

Likewise, Ar. Jay Thakkar from J architects has transformed an old residential space into an extraordinary Photography Studio through not just his creative designing skills but by also adapting to the client's needs & expectations.

The client wished to create an unique yet classy look for their Studio, which would not only be attractive to the eyes of the viewers, but which would also give a functional & soothing environment to work, enhancing the feel of the place.

To achieve that, the Studio walls have been kept to be natural, wherein the concrete is scraped which exposes the natural brick colour, which gives the wall a total new look & feel. Similarly, the toilet walls are designed by using rough plaster; lights, which are a crucial & an uplift for a Photography Studio, have been kept to be playful, which complements to the material used for designing.

The concrete look is beautifully balanced in the Presentation Area with the blue coloured TV unit. To establish the creativity, the Staff Room has been jazzed up with Pastel Blue Palette, which gives a soothing & positive vibes. To elevate the overall mood of the corners, small artistic elements have been installed across all the corners.

Comprehensively, all the natural materials used gives the studio a raw, rustic yet artistic touch along with color pop theme which makes this Photography Studio stand out & be an exception!!
