The Boathouse is a luxury seniors living development of six residential apartments. Located on a high profile site near Clareville Beach, the project has been lauded as an example of how to successfully integrate medium density development into a sensitive environment with a strong neighbourhood character. The design locates the apartments around a central northern facing courtyard, encouraging interaction between residents. Each apartment has its own unique outlook and aspect, taking advantage of spectacular views over Pittwater. A boardwalk provides access past the communal BBQ area and spa to the boatshed by the water’s edge. The design incorporates a contemporary take on traditional elements such as bay windows and provides a residential scale that is in keeping with the surrounding dwellings.
