When we set out to design our own studio, we asked ourselves a question: “If our space is to embody who we are as designers, what should it feel like?” The answer was not spectacle, but sincerity. We envisioned a studio that reflects our ethos “Design Meets Living”. A space that is calm, honest, eco-conscious and made for people to truly feel at home in.
Visitors enter through a threshold that tells our story before we say a word. Architecturally arranged broken marble, salvaged from trade waste bins, is framed by a brick wall made from reclaimed bricks. Many visitors pause here, running their hands across the surfaces.
The heart of the studio opens into a mezzanine anchored by a diagonally placed Patagonia stone island, serving as a worktable, gathering spot and sculptural centerpiece. Overhead, suspended lights hover like lanterns, softening the black-painted ceiling with a gentle, meditative glow.
To one side, the consultation zone cocoons clients with limewashed walls and rounded lighting for dialogue and intimacy. Adjacent, the lounge offers quietude in hushed tones and natural textures, a space for pause between conversations.
Walking through the space is a quiet, textural, and layered experience. It is moody without being heavy, immersive without being overwhelming. Wherever possible, eco-friendly and responsibly sourced materials were chosen, giving the home both character and conscience. Every detail, from material selection to lighting and finishes, reflects our approach: resourceful, precise, and feeling-driven. As we like to remind ourselves, “Our studio is both a workplace and a manifesto. It teaches us to design with responsibility.”
The result is not just where we work. It is where our values live.
