Confluence explores the structural limits, possibilities and materiality of bamboo to create a highly dynamic pavilion/ Canopy. It appears as a surprising chance encounter as a sculptural abstraction of a clump of bamboo with is complex canopy the pool and the seating act like social anchors, around which, people gather to reflect, relax and deliberate.

Confluence has 1546 meters of bamboo stem used as structural elements and have 04 components. The custom designed mild steel connectors to hold the sections in place to form the complex form.

40-50 dia bamboo reeds used as infill elements in between the structural sections. Concrete forms the foundation and the water body around it.
