It is a design to refurbish an existing restaurant. The restaurant is called "The Tara," which is Thai meaning "River." The Chao Phraya River, Thailand's primary river with a long history of people living by the water, is where the restaurant is situated.

The restaurant's entryway is made to stand out from the surrounding buildings. Black stone with matching colors is used to decorate the entry wall. The Tara's logo boldly highlights the entry from the surroundings. The restaurant's walkway is imagined as a floating block on the snow-white gravel. When you walk and then see the river as the end of the path, the rhythm alters your mood.

The dining space is divided into two main sections. The exterior is designed to maximize views of the river and solve the problem of obstructed views, elevate the dining area's floor to a cascading height in each section, dark wooden floors and dark-washed gravel were used in the outdoor decorations. The exterior steel column creates the impression of a room with a vista that surrounds it and encourages it to be more prominent. The interior is air-conditioned, uses transparent glass, and has a thin aluminum section frame to prevent blocking the widest possible view The color scheme and decoration focus a lot on dark gray tones to provide the space a sober appearance. Cement beams were left in place to represent that the structure was originally a building, and the walls were painted with spray texture. the design was inspired by the restaurant's name, "River." Instead of the shimmering water surface, glossy black tiles are placed behind the bar. The decorative elements make efforts to make the pattern more graphical.
