The husband, an industrialist, and the wife, an artist, wanted a space that reflects both their worlds—engineering and art—woven into one cohesive design.
The name Urban Retreat captures the essence of the property perfectly. Surrounded by verdant greenery, the house gradually emerges as one moves through the landscape, blending seamlessly with its environment. A water feature, resembling a modern moat, encircles the home, enhancing the peaceful, zen-like ambiance. The minimalist grey façade of the building stands out with understated elegance, complementing rather than dominating the natural beauty around it.
Designed as a single-storey home, Urban Retreat features an open-plan layout with spacious bedrooms, living areas, dining space, office, courtyard, and swimming pool, all thoughtfully arranged on the ground floor to maintain accessibility and flow.
