Client: Grey Yapı Location: Atasehir / Istanbul Project Area: 14000 sqm Project Year: 2015 Construction Year: June 2016 Architectural Photographs: Altkat Photography Scope of Work: Softscape Execution Projects, Execution Control and Consultancy The project consists of 3 residences and 13 low-rise building housing stocks in Istanbul Atasehir. The main starting point of architectural projects of elegance and compliance functionality, classic and modernism's synthesis are given attention also in planting design of open spaces. Low-rise buildings create courtyards that are designed as 'woods' with high coniferous and deciduous trees in different shades and shrub species has been proposed. In the same courtyards 1 biological pool and 1 biological pond are enriched with water and herbaceous plants that helped to capture the image of a natural forest too. Due to the private gardens have stores in the ground floors; specialized techniques are developed in order to create a perception of real garden. Around the 2 outdoor swimming pools are used exotic plants, a variety of places in the project that has been highlighted also in the soft landscaping. More than 100 different plant species used in this particular project and the majority of the plants have been brought from Italy, Netherlands and China.
