The new sports hall was skilfully integrated into the village context byharmoniously blending into the neighbourhood through its staggered construction. The façade is stepped to create a dialogue with the surrounding buildings. Different levels between the square, the entrance area and the hall ensure clear orientation and address formation. The difference in height is a pleasant experience, especially for schoolchildren. The orthogonal orientation of the hall in relation to the new school building and the older school wing creates a well-proportioned break area. Inside, the bright access hall forms the central element, serving all important areas and drawing the eye to the hall as soon as one enters. The cloakrooms are cleverly accessed from this zone, allowing for a high level of social control. The gallery is centrally located and forms the end of the access hall. The sustainable construction includes a solid base for the play areas and a carefully planned wooden structure above, which provides an attractive spatial atmosphere for the users. A photovoltaic system is located on the roof to achieve the desired energy generation.
