"Triplet Code, Imun" is located on a large street-side road from the subway station in front of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies to the four universities. It is a road for access to the three-way street in front of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and it is a very busy place due to the high frequency of traffic and the use of pedestrians such as students.
First of all, the lower floor located on the busy street is composed of a podium that communicates with the road from the ground floor to the third floor by opening all the first floor with transparent glass to facilitate the access of pedestrians floating on the street. Unlike Sangsu-dong and Sinsa-dong, in consideration of the nature of a large number of unspecified pedestrians, the empty gaps in the volume raised on the ground made it possible to flow in from various directions from the outside by creating voids on the side of the street. Natural landscapes were placed in public land to specialize in the entrance of a separate multi-story shopping mall, and underground sunken were placed to receive lighting from the side of the street and to cause vertical circulation to the underground. The third floor, which is the upper part of the podium, secured a wide terrace overlooking the active side of the street to provide an open interior space, and planned to serve as a lounge so that it can be used in both the middle and lower floors.
The middle-floor portion of the building's body was emphasized as a white volume with an orderly arrangement with an elegant outer shell, which was easily visible not only on the horizontal side, but also on the underground roadway, and on the street side of the three-way intersection in front of the external university in the distance, enhancing visual accessibility. The interior was composed of a simple and neutral space, so that the use of the space could change depending on the purpose of the lease. The upper floor is the same work space as the middle floor, but the volume was distinguished from the middle floor, where the lease is expected by floor by distinguishing it with a dark metal material. The upper floor, which opens to the sky and has a view of the skyline in the distance, holds the yard inside and allows the interior space of the two-story to serve as a sky lounge so that it can be used as a specific cultural space or a central space for a private office building.
It is said that the new city-level development will take place as large residential townhouses are built to the North, which still serves as a gateway to connect the eastern highway directly. Although the local environment is expected to improve due to the undergroundization of the eastern highway and the creation of a waterfront park, we hope that the urban large-scale development plan will lead to changes that improve the quality of the lives of residents.
