Designed by Two Arquitetura, Loft Urbano materializes an active and sophisticated lifestyle. Located in the heart of Itaim, São Paulo, the project begins with the singularity of its resident — a young athlete living alone — to design a highly personalized space. With 80 m² and an interior language that speaks directly to the urban landscape, the project is structured as a high-end refuge, featuring a modern aesthetic and a warm, elegant atmosphere.
The open and integrated floor plan was essential to reflect the client's freedom and dynamism. The industrial-structured loft features an open mezzanine, where the main suite includes a closet and a shower fully exposed to the bedroom. In this upper-level bathroom, limestone is used on the ceiling, walls, and toilet area — bringing natural texture and sophistication to the intimate space.
The social area flows seamlessly between the kitchen and living room, marked by a palette of charcoal and black tones balanced by the warmth of wood flooring. The kitchen countertop, crafted in Grigio Paraná quartzite by Montblanc, combines the durability of the material with the elegance of its natural veining. The dark tones add a masculine character to the loft, while dialoguing with the metal staircase that connects the living area to the mezzanine.
The furniture is carefully curated to reflect a modern aesthetic with Italian influence, favoring low-profile volumes. The Ornare kitchen, with gray cabinetry, establishes visual continuity with the surrounding elements. A blue-gray linen sofa, designed by Two and handcrafted by a local upholsterer, stands as the centerpiece — voluminous and plush, filled with down feathers. In front of it, a custom-designed coffee table with integrated poufs enhances spatial functionality with elegant personality.
The selection of pieces plays a vital role in the project. A Poliform armchair, By Kamy rug, and distributed lighting designed to generate visual comfort all respect the loft's intimate scale. The controlled use of color and raw materials strikes a balance between urban character and refined elegance — a contrast that defines the essence of the loft.
This project not only fulfills the resident’s functional needs but also translates his identity into every element: a space where concrete meets the delicacy of detail, and where the city, though ever-present, becomes the backdrop to a private life.
