This building project is the new construction of a 4-star superior hotel with 153 rooms, classic car salesrooms and workshop areas on the ground floor. The V8 Hotel is the second segment of the already existing theme hotel. In a total of 16 theme-rooms, automotive passion is presented. 7 additional long-stay apartments complete the offer. A wellness area on the 6th floor allows a wonderful view of the developed urban area of ​​the former aerodrome.

In terms of urban planning, the hotel was positioned in such a way to create the entrance gate to the city of Böblingen together with the opposite positioned existing military buildings. An angled building structure leads into the area where other buildings of the aerodrome are and forms the Charles Lindbergh Square, as an access area to the two hotels.

In the underground floor, a car park is located and on the two basement floors are positioned lobby areas, a restaurant and conference rooms. Furthermore, there is an old-timer car dealer, a showroom for McLaren and an affiliated automobile workshop, which opens with the glass walls to the hotel foyer.

The 4-story hotel rooms are furnished with a business equipment, floor-to-ceiling windows and a bathroom with a big glass opening. Large format planks and softly shaped furniture made of black MDF characterize the interior of the hotel rooms. The theme-rooms reflect the automotive passion of different brands and themes. The beds in theme-rooms are designed as "car beds" which means that each of these beds has a front of a car as a bed closure.

The entire building is made of reinforced concrete accepts the cantilevered attic, which was built in steel construction. Post-bolt Facades made of steel and aluminum, shape the open space of the ground floor units. The individual windows of the hotel rooms were designed with a different depth of the aluminum frames, creating dynamic across the entire façade.
