About the Project
Studio Murnane designed the new headquarters for Vegamour across two expansive suites within the historic Capitol Milling Complex, one of Los Angeles’ oldest commercial buildings. Originally developed in the mid-1800s and operational as a flour mill until 1998, the site provided a richly textured backdrop for a modern workplace. The design palette is warm and neutral, enriched by layered materials and tactile surfaces that infuse the environment with quiet vibrancy.

From Brand Identity to Spacial Design
Before diving into the architectural and interior design phases, Studio Murnane partnered closely with the Vegamour founder and team over two years to execute a complete brand identity transformation. Rooted in the brand’s core value (product purity and real results) we developed a thoughtful, holistic brand strategy encompassing messaging, packaging, web design, product naming, Sephora merchandising, and a comprehensive brand bible and style guide to align their growing team.

This foundation of intentional storytelling and design became the springboard for the physical space. By the time we began work on the 13,000-square-foot headquarters in 2024, our deep understanding of the brand allowed us to craft an environment that seamlessly reflected Vegamour’s ethos: growth without compromise

Designing for a Modern Wellness Brand
Vegamour entrusted us with translating their next big chapter into physical space, one that would foster creativity, collaboration, and well-being. Having designed multiple workplace environments, we aligned with Vegamour’s goals to create flexible, highly functional spaces tailored to the unique needs of their fast-scaling team.

As a digitally native brand, content creation is central to Vegamour’s success. We designed a branded shoot studio that includes a salon-style vanity and a fully functional walk-in shower, allowing for “on vacation” lifestyle shoots on-site—an amenity that saves both time and cost while enhancing content versatility.

Wellness-Driven Workflows
Flexibility was a key priority. The marketing team’s conference room features an adjustable-height table to accommodate a range of working styles. Throughout the space, we designed adaptable shared areas, focused phone rooms, and efficient collaboration hubs to support both deep work and creativity.

Inspired by Vegamour’s brand identity, the interiors emphasize a warm, neutral palette grounded in natural materials and earthy textures, promoting calm focus and effortless beauty.

Spaces for Connection and Recharge
Recognizing the importance of downtime, we designed communal areas to support wellness and connection. The welcoming lobby and central kitchen incorporate residential touches like walnut millwork, limestone surfaces, and soft lighting—creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that encourages employees to relax, connect, and recharge.
