In this kitchen, we work with love and tradition.Vernáculo is a place to reconnect with flavors and memories that remind us of where we come from and where we are going.
Each corner of Vernáculo tells the story of Northeast México, from its cuisine and people to its memories, traditions, and roots. The design evokes a country house where you can disconnect from the routine and chaos of everyday life, but with the comfort of being in the city to break the monotony.
The exposed kitchen showcases culinary techniques that have been lost over time. Chef Hugo Guajardo has been rescuing and compiling these techniques from town to town and kitchen to kitchen, bringing them directly to our plates at Vernáculo.
Another essential aspect of the project is the large communal table. In the Northeast, food is shared as a family, with uncles and aunts. It doesn't matter where you come from; we are all one big family.
