VILLA BIFRONTE_3- STOREY ITALIAN VILLA CONVERTED TO AN ENERGY-EFFICIENT PROPERTY OF A 4 LUXURY APARTMEN

CRISTINA CIPOLLI STUDIO as Architects

Architectural Project of an old italian 800 sqm villa, converted in 4 luxury flats. Conservation Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management.

The organization of the 4 apartments operates between the architectural and the interior design scale. The idea of the project is about the co-existence and integration of an historical original design from the 1900 and a contemporary minimal design of the 2012. The system needs to follow the sustainable design criteria. The design for this apartment block is based on a concept of let the outside inside. Indoor and outdoor spaces flow into one another through retractable doors, full height glass walls, and harmonized materials. The interior has fluid spaces with a warm atmosphere thanks to the materials used: oak floorboards and timber veneer panels, polished concrete floor, stone. Through the consistent, innovative use of renewable primary energies, building services are designed to be environmentally-friendly, sustainable and energy-saving using the latest technology.
