The project involves the construction of a contemporary villa set within the rural landscape, conceived as a harmonious combination of two architectural volumes arranged along the east-west axis of the plot. The main building houses the residence, whilst a second building, situated further to the west, serves as a guest house and incorporates ancillary residential and rural functions. The two buildings share the same architectural language, characterised by simple geometric forms, clean lines and a dark exterior finish that creates an elegant contrast with the surrounding greenery.

The composition is organised around a footpath that crosses the plot and connects the two buildings, becoming the defining element of the entire project. The main volume is arranged over two levels and centres on a bright double-height space, around which the living and sleeping areas are organised. The large glazed surfaces foster a constant visual connection with the landscape, allowing natural light to permeate all the interior spaces.

The contrast between the architecture and the natural surroundings is softened by the presence of porticoes, terraces and semi-covered spaces that extend the liveability of the rooms outwards. These transitional spaces, together with carefully designed openings, create vistas and views that enhance the relationship with the countryside and the surrounding greenery.

Great care has been taken to ensure the project blends seamlessly into the landscape. Most of the existing rows of fruit trees have been retained, preserving the site’s original agricultural character, whilst the remaining areas have been landscaped as lawns and enhanced with new native trees. The annexe, situated near the most agricultural part of the property, completes the project as a natural extension of the main residence, helping to define a unified, contemporary architectural ensemble that is deeply integrated into the landscape.
