Reinterpreting and revitalizing a villa designed by Architect-Engineer Mario Luzzetti does not mean freezing it in its original state, but rather allowing it to evolve in harmony with the original design, reaching out toward the garden and the splendid pine forest of Roccamare.

Over the years, the villa had undergone expansion works that were entirely incongruous—not only with respect to its original architectural language, but also, and above all, with respect to the delicate relationship between interior and exterior that constituted its most interesting feature.

The removal of the accretions, and the consequent recovery of the corresponding volumes, has made it possible to write a new chapter for the villa—a chapter necessarily contemporary, yet attentive to the lesson of balance and proportion that Roccamare is still capable of imparting.
