LUMINOSO was used in the high-end suites of the W Hotel in Guangzhou, China.
This floor to ceiling installation behind the bed, was used as an innovative medium in which to display art.
Coloured translucent films were mounted on plexy-glass panels, set behind the LUMINOSO, which in turn was illuminated by LED light sheets. This stained the light passing through the panel, allowing multiple colours in the design.
The texture of the grain is visible in the illuminated image, producing a unique textural effect.
