From the moment of stepping into the cinema to buy tickets until reaching the auditorium through the passage, the whole movie-watching experience seems like a journey of light and shadow. The designer cleverly captured this inspiration and carefully created a space with light brown and dark brown as the main colors. There are various circular elements arranged in it, creating a space that is simple yet with a sense of exploration, allowing the audience to be immediately immersed in this unique movie exploration journey when stepping into the Coastal City Cinema.
The walls and ceiling of the lobby have a unique texture design. The name of the cinema above the passage leading to the auditorium is arranged in a layered manner, showing a three-dimensional effect, as if leading the audience to step in. On the ceiling of the lobby and the rest area, the undulating arc decorations are like the rock structures in a natural cave. The simple lines outline the dynamic sense of the space, providing the audience with a simple and elegant visual experience of light and shadow.
In front of the auditorium, the soft light is projected onto the overlapping semi-transparent white circular light spots on the ground, as if guiding the audience to move forward in the soft light. These lights are also like the spotlights on the stage, sincerely welcoming every audience coming to watch the movie.
Inside the auditorium, the lights are like the headlights of vehicles driving at night, drawing bright light tracks in the darkness and illuminating the way for the audience to find their seats.
In addition, in the passage and the restroom, some lights are hidden in the indirect lighting, skillfully outlining the light and shadow effects and creating a simple and modern atmosphere, making people immersed in this unique movie light and shadow journey.
