warm and welcoming physiotherapy clinic in Athens

Project aim was to totally reformulate an old apartment into a fresh and modern physiotherapy clinic that would also match the owner's personality and love for modern design. All internal brick walls of the apartment were removed and instead a lot of small rooms were created with plasterboard for the private treatment of the patients. Dimitris Economou, following the streams of simple, designed everything in rectangular lines, neat and at the right place. Indirect lighting softens the space and inspires calmness and coziness. Orange was chosen to add to the senses and eye and combined to zebrano wood both create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Opposite the reception a fully organised coffee station is designed ready to be disappeared at any time by just pulling down its white lacquered top. Themes from wikipedia play the role of decorative touches on the walls and at the same time inform about the clinic's treating therapies.
