The White Wolf Estate project seeks a collective identity based on a geometric reference, easily assumed by common sense, part of the local history building codes. The visual identity is achieved through the rural icon appropriation, a symbol of the rooted constructive tradition. In a general way, architectural elements related to rural, such as granaries, haystacks or barns were the research base, in its form and materiality. Therefore, it is used the gable roof throughout the intervention, in a studied and considered way of its proportions.
The icon is processed through a lapidary design, well proportionated, determined, clean, clear and objective. The confrontation between two different dialects, historical and contemporary, provides an embrace of the contemporary design with the functionality of the vernacular.
