WorkingBuildings, an engineering consulting firm that specializes in enhancing building performance through services like building commissioning, sustainability initiatives and facility performance maintenance chose to relocate to the Promenade office building in Midtown Atlanta. Their goal was to create a visual dynamic and highly collaborative work environment that showcases the nature of their work.

Critical to the new environment was to achieve Platinum LEED® CI status as a demonstration of their capabilities and work philosophy.

Working with a second generation space, ceilings and drywall partitions were removed to reveal existing concrete structure and building systems. New dynamic wall and ceiling forms in crisp angular configurations with bold colors define key arrival and meeting spaces. Open, collaborative team work environments were created to enhance team interaction. Daylight and visual transparency highlight the work area that overlook the treetops in their new third floor level space.
