Housing for the young couple left the city of Obama, Fukui Prefecture. 福井県小浜市の若夫婦の為の離れの住宅。敷地の前後が空き地であったため２階に大きな窓をつくることで、水田、山並み、空を遠くまで望め、床面積以上に広がりのある空間となっている。天井が高い大きなリビングに小さな部屋が断面的に２つ併設したプランとし、小さな部屋と大きな部屋の関係性により小ぶりな家の中にも性格の異なる多様な場所をつくることを求めた。建物はガルバリウムで包み込み、黒い塊が空き地の中に静かに佇む様子が田園風景に馴染んでいる。
