In Syria a new urban society is being planned on a mountain in the region of Yafour – near the capital Damascus. The masterplan includes housing, retail and recreational facilties.
A main avenue runs across the entire area connecting the city with the various green areas.
The masterplan covers an area of 631,000 m² and is based on an engaged sustainable mindset where the city becomes part of the green rather than vice versa.
