Set in the Sonoran desert, ZAPATO STUDIO was designed by Linette Shorr for her and her husband, Terry Moore. Colkitt provided and detailed the rusty steel cladding system. The rusty steel blends beautifully with the colors of the desert. Using 100% rusty steel cladding, along with innovative use of materials and details, the studio is nestled in the surrounding desert environment, the orientation and materials were selected for environmental sensitivity.
