Located in the center of the city of Mantua, on the top floor of a residential complex built in the 1970s The project at the request of the private client, a young couple of lawyers, aims to recover the attic of the building. The idea starts from the premise of creating an open and very bright space for the living area given the small openings in the exterior walls.

Hence the choice to use white for the walls and renew the wood of the ceiling. Taking into account the height of the roof of the very low eaves, we leave the entire room open also in height, 4 meters at the top of the roof. The solid oak floor was recovered by sanding and painting on site. The sleeping area and services, meanwhile, continue to be more reserved and include a double bedroom, main bathroom, anteroom and hallway.
