Two faces

Planning a classic building shape and still serving the uniqueness? The result is a home with two faces, a skillful interplay of white plaster façade and lots of larch. Incisions in the cubature read like architectural apple bites, which are filled with wood and slats to give them their very own quality. On the street side, the solid brick house mimics solid modesty with its pointed roof gable, while the garden side really turns up the heat with its transparency and openness.

Here, a continuous, partially mirrored glass façade provides exciting views in and out. At night, it comes to life and looks like the cross-section of an illuminated doll's house. An onlooker would now have a clear view of the airy interior design - from the flowing dining and living area with lots of white and warm wood, right up to the master bedroom and the bright marble bathroom with free-standing bathtub. How good that there are hardly any neighbors here!
